About Jonathan Boos

Jonathan Boos specializes in sourcing and selling fine art by the most recognized American and European artists of the nineteenth, twentieth and twenty-first centuries, spanning Impressionism, Modernism, Realism, Post-War and Contemporary Art. With over 30 years of experience as an auctioneer, curator, advisor, private dealer and gallerist, Jonathan is a leading authority in all aspects of the constantly evolving art world.

Jonathan counsels some of the country’s most admired collectors and museums and has been entrusted to handle countless acquisitions and deaccessions of paintings and sculptures throughout his career. For many years his gallery has exhibited at important art fairs including The Winter Show, and, as a member of the Art Dealers Association of America, The Art Show.

A family run business since 2006, Sheri Boos joined the team in 2020. In 2022, the gallery moved into a newly renovated space at 980 Madison Avenue, one of New York City’s premiere destinations for fine art. Jonathan Boos shares the space with art industry veteran Liz Sterling.
